Why do I need a Technical Advisor / Client Representative?
The SRP can be a time-consuming process, with continued communication required between the school, DfE and contractor. A specialist and experienced technical advisor and client representative, such as AEC, will ensure your Leadership Team can focus on teaching, and education is at the forefront.
- Instructing an industry professional to act on your behalf, will ensure the schools interests are at the forefront of the project, providing added reassurance that the DfE appointed project team will deliver on school expectations and requirements.
- If there is slippage on scope, quality, programme and associated disruption, a school representative can foresee these issues, raise with the DfE on behalf of the school and assist with resolutions.
- If there are any technical, legal or contractual concerns, the school representative can advise for reassurance and add knowledge.
