Nick Cecil

Business Development Manager

Nick joined the AEC team in January 2022 coming from a career in education and management as well as directing his own businesses.

Nick’s career in education began in 2007 and he has since worked for a number of schools, sixth forms and trusts over a 14 year career. With his extensive experience of management and educational practice, Nick is able to advise clients of specialist solutions which best suit teaching and learning as well as a client’s curriculum.

Within AEC, Nick focuses on business efficiency, management systems, marketing, contracts/policies, staff recruitment and training as well as business development opportunities.

Paula Barr

Secretary / Office Manager

Paula has 20+ years of experience providing Secretarial / PA roles. Having gained qualifications in Secretarial and Business, she started her career with a reputable London based Underwriting Agency and an established Merchant Bank. She has since worked a number of years for a business within the construction sector. 

Since joining AEC, Paula has taken on the position of Secretary / Office Manager overseeing and assisting with the general flow of business and managing Office Staff.

Hollie Richards

HR Advisor / Administrator

Hollie joins AEC with 5 years’ experience in HR & Administration having achieved a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management. Her experience is in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Office Management, Compliance, & Leadership, with a drive to learn, support, and empower others.

Being part of the Business Support Team, Hollie’s goal is to support Employee Development, advocate Company Values, and drive Organisational Objectives.

Harry Bennett

Media, Marketing & IT Co-ordinator

Harry joined AEC following nearly six years of experience in the IT industry, where he played an integral role in the media department at his previous position. Eager to contribute his experience, he is now enthusiastic about capturing and creating engaging content for AEC's online platforms.

At AEC, Harry supports the company's marketing efforts and ensures that the IT infrastructure runs smoothly. He enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and tools in the industry and is committed to contributing to AEC's continued success.

Sarah McMenemy

Finance Assistant / Administrator

Sarah started with AEC following a 22-year career in Accounts, with 19 years dedicated to managing financial operations in the Asbestos Waste Disposal sector.

In her role at AEC, Sarah contributes her financial expertise and experience, working closely with the Directors to enhance the company's financial processes.

Lisa Nash

Team Administrator

Lisa joined the AEC team following a 14 year career in the Health Care sector. Lisa is highly organised, self-motivated and has extensive customer service and secretarial experience.

At Academy Estates, Lisa supports the Funding Consultants and Project Management Team in coordinating projects, documentation and delivering an exceptional customer/client experience.

Tracy Wood

Team Administrator

Tracy worked previously in a non-clinical role within a Dental Practice but has experience working within the Construction/Surveying sector.

At AEC Tracy will be supporting the Project Management team and accompanying project managers on site visits.

Zoë Burgess

Team Administrator

Zoë joined AEC following 4 years working in hospitality, she is highly organised and provides a professional customer service experience. Zoë is keen to progress and gain experience within all aspects of the company.

Since joining AEC Zoë has been a key member of the business support team, assisting the Project Management team and accompanying them onsite. She has also completed Certificates in Financial Studies, Business Administration and Digital Marketing.

Alexandra Judd

Team Administrator

Since joining AEC, Alex has been working alongside Lisa and Zoe as a Team Administrator, to support the Funding Consultants and Project Management Team in coordinating projects and documentation.

With 10 years’ worth of secretarial/administrative experience and having previously worked within the surveying industry, Alex is highly organised and has a great customer service experience. She is highly motivated and well suited to the challenges of the industry.
