Technical Design Team

Kevin started off as a trainee CAD Operator over 20 years ago and has progressed to a degree level in June 2010 to achieve a BSc (Hons) Architectural Technologist. During his time he has be involved in the residential, commercial, Education and Healthcare sectors, getting involved from the initial design stages and Project co-ordinating through to Construction

He is a dedicated and self-motivated professional able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of the Building Regulations with the proven ability to ensure full compliance there with.

Darren began his career nearly 20 years ago and quickly showed drive and determination to learn new skills. He built on his experience throughout various positions and this led to completing a degree at Anglian Ruskin University to achieve a BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology in 2011.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in a wide range of sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Residential & Commercial. These sectors have required a range of services from feasibility studies all the way through to full construction packs including project co-ordination with other consultants, specialists, suppliers & site agents. 

He is a self-motivated, passionate & professional individual who is able to approach any project methodically utilising his vast knowledge of the Building Regulations.

Having started her professional in 2014, Marlene is a qualified, experienced RIBA Architect and Interior Designer. Having delivered countless bespoke, high-end residential and commercial projects domestically and overseas, Marlene has joined AEC as a Project Manager.

Marlene offers a wealth of transferable skills as an addition to AEC, specialising in contract administration, procurement and delivery of projects within the education sector.

Marlene focuses on bringing a project to life, ensuring clients get the most out of the process from inception to handover and provides a keen eye for detail whilst ensuring clients needs, professionalism and expectations are met.

Emily graduated from the University of Kent in 2021 and gained her Part 1 Architecture degree. She has since gained experience in survey and design work for residential properties in South Essex, working on a wide range of properties and projects. She is skilled with both AutoCAD and SketchUp and has now joined AEC as a Graduate Architect.
